Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Python Application Consultant. This role involves designing and developing RESTful web services with a focus on scalable and maintainable API architecture. The successful candidate will work on integrating with external systems and third-party APIs, contributing to web UI development, and ensuring efficient data workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
  • 10 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with configuration-driven development.
  • Strong experience in building RESTful web services and integrating with third-party APIs.
  • Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Familiarity with environment-specific configuration and rollback mechanisms.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with web UI development.
  • Knowledge of data loading and validation workflows, including Excel / CSV import / export.
  • Experience in feedback-driven iteration cycles and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable RESTful web services using Python.
  • Integrate with external systems and third-party APIs.
  • Contribute to the development of web UI and Azure Functions.
  • Ensure consistent identifier management across environments.
  • Create workflows for data loading, validation, and result file generation.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Support environment-specific configuration and rollback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support feedback-driven iteration cycles.
