Job Description
Department Mission Statement :
To support the manufacturing of existing Hendrickson suspension components and the development of new Hendrickson suspension components while keeping Hendrickson a profitable company. We will do this by safely keeping our processes capable from a Quality standpoint, reducing and eliminating costly scrap and rework and by simultaneously developing the manufacturing processes and tools needed to go with product development. We will focus on creating processes that are capable, sustainable, and within takt time. These processes must support the capacity needed by the customer within reasonable financial payback to our company.
Position Purpose :
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing all the technical aspects of the axle department, including equipment, tooling, machinery and process flow. The Manufacturing Engineer is also required to supervise and develop one or more Manufacturing Engineering technicians. The technical aspects will include but are not limited to :
