Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Englewood, NJ. The ideal candidate will support CI / CD pipeline development and secure application deployments across cloud and data center environments.

Rate Range : $44 / hour to $45 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Automation Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Build, deploy, and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support efficient and secure application delivery.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and security tools across AWS, GCP, and data centers, including WAF, Site Shield, and vulnerability scanning.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues using packet capture and APM tools.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy to streamline operations and improve system reliability.
• Support M365 services and lead tenant-to-tenant migrations, ensuring governance and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical projects, manage risk, and provide 24 / 7 operational support.

Pay Details : $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
