This Developer will work with Office of Internet Technology (OIT) to maintain compliance with DHS, State and Federal requirements.
This role provides stabilization and support for an existing Microsoft Access database application used in daily accounting operations. The application is currently in production and will remain in use until a modernization project is completed.
The primary focus of this position is to diagnose issues, implement bug fixes, ensure reliability of daily workflows, and create documentation.
Responsibilities include : Troubleshoot and resolve defects in the existing Access front end and SQL Server back end. Ensure daily operational workflows function consistently and accurately. Document business logic, database relationships, and application workflows to enable internal support. Provide knowledge transfer to OIT Staff. Collaborate professionally with business stakeholders to clarify issues and confirm successful resolutions. Coordinate with the modernization project team to ensure continued alignment, without performing modernization work.
