Oval Skate Guard

Job Title

Position Responsibilities :

• Conducts routine property walks
• Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees
• Lay out the rubber matting and benches to prepare the rink area for the public
• Clear ice rink of snow / sleet as well as surrounding walkways and bench areas
• Skate Guards will be responsible for the safety of the skaters while on the Oval
• Skate Guards will be responsible for checking tickets at the gate and reminding patrons to return rented skates

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands & Working Conditions :

This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping and possible heavy lifting. This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, as well as work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
