Financial Analyst

Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Finance project lead for Networking HW Maintenance contracts, External Contractors expenses, Software / Subscriptions and Professional Fees. Ad-hoc projects around variance analysis, improvement of forecast processes and other operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control.

• Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget.
• Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Prepare recommendations based on analysis.
• Track and understand agreements we have with 3rd party OEMs to cover HW support on their products, establish cost drivers / KPI's and assist with data needed for contract re-negotiations.
• Work with business operations personnel to understand current and future external contractor needs and volumes.
• Apply that knowledge to financial modeling and participation in projects within finance and / or with the business.
• You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment which requires successful candidates to be able to work independently or collaboratively depending on the project.

Key Skills and Qualifications Needed

5 years relevant work experience. BS / BA in Accounting / Finance preferred. CPA / MBA desired. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Strong spreadsheet skill and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong written and oral communication skill. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Self starter able to prioritize given responsibilities.
