Senior Public Relations Specialist - Media Relations (Remote)

We’re searching for our next Senior Public Relations Specialist. This role requires an advanced public affairs and public relations background and will focus on communications related activities that support a cybersecurity-focused organization.

Strong candidates will have experience supporting clients with media relations activities and executing communications strategies. Experience supporting a federal agency’s communications operations is highly preferred. If you are passionate about strategic communications and have the requisite prior experience, we'd love to talk to you. Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a senior level media relations consultant.
• Develops key monitoring and analytics reports that are key to CISA media relations and public affairs programs.
• Use insights on effective media outreach strategy to produce national, regional, trade and targeted outreach plans and lists.
• Provide strategic media counsel to the client related to generate positive, impactful coverage related to cyber and physical security and resilience programs.
• Develop communications materials in support of new or expanding programs and initiatives, including fact sheets, press releases and advisories, toolkits, talking points and other communications products.
• Provide External Affairs staff with timely issues / crisis communications support.
