The Driscoll Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas is recruiting a Board certified / Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Qualified candidates will work in a team of 4 Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists. The Heart Center at Driscoll Children's Hospital is under rapid expansion with ongoing construction of state-of-the-art operating rooms, cardiac catheterization suite and a 34-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit. The ideal applicant, MD / DO, will have successfully completed a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship in an ACGME accredited program and must be ABA board certified. The pediatric cardiovascular anesthesia division at the Driscoll Children s Hospital Heart Center covers all congenital cardiac patients for cardiac based procedures both in the OR and the cardiac catheterization lab. We also cover most of the congenital cardiac patients when they present for non-cardiac surgery.
