job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCPR certification is required. EHM Senior Solutions will pay for cost of approved CPR course upon hire, if not already certified. Customer service preferred Knowledge of dementia particularly of the Alzheimer’s type is helpful. One (1) year work experience in direct care service with older adults preferred but not required. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to help all residents. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Job Duties, but not limited to :
- Demonstrate / perform assigned duties in a compassionate manner in accordance with the mission / values of Evangelical Homes of Michigan
- Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents’ families, visitors and staff.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, as necessary.
- Observes the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes.
- Provides medication reminders as defined in the procedure manual. Exhibits understanding of and follows medication policies and procedures.
