GUILD GC, Inc is a vertically integrated construction and development company with a focus on building urban-infill multifamily projects across the westside of Los Angeles. With a pipeline of projects to build, we are looking for a dynamic Project Engineer to join the team in the construction of a mixed-use building located in West Hollywood. We seek a professional, self-motivated and team-oriented individual to assist us with our expanding workload.

- Salary : Based on experience but in the range of $75,000 to $90,000

JOB DUTIES
Project Coordination :
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in daily project operationCoordinate between field teams, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionalsTrack RFI’s (Request for Information) and ensure timely responsesSupport the preparation, distribution and management of submittals and shop drawingsDocumentation & Reporting :
Maintain / update project documentation including drawings, specs, logs and correspondenceRecord meeting minutes for owner, subcontractor and coordination meetingsAssist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and look-ahead plansMonitor daily reports and jobsite logs; verify progress and note any delays and issuesCost & Budget Management :
Assist in the review of subcontractor invoices, change orders and pay applicationsHelp track committed costs against project budgetsSupport procurement and purchasing activitiesMaintain logs for potential change orders (PCO’s), RFI’s and contract revisionsQuality Control & Compliance :
Support inspections and testing per project specifications and regulatory requirementsEnsure that materials and installations comply with contract documentsAssist in developing punch lists and coordinating project close-outHelp manager safety compliance documentation and reportingCommunication & Collaboration :
Act as liaison between project team members, architects, engineers and clientsAttend project meetings and prepare follow-up communicationsAssist with client updates and status reportsTechnology & Tools :
Use program management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, etc)Assist with digital plan markups, document uploads and coordination modelsPerform quantity takeoffs or support estimating teams as neededQUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess :
At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction industryUndergraduate degree in Construction Management – Civil Engineering…a plusExperience managing ProcoreProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and MS ProjectMust possess valid / active driver’s licenseBonus : experience building in the cities of Los Angeles and West HollywoodTo learn more about us : https : / / guildgc.com
