Parts Coordinator

As a Parts Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for identifying, locating and obtaining parts in order to meet customer’s needs

This position will be located at the Norfolk, Virginia branch for MGX Equipment Services and report to the Parts Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Maintain inventory control.
• Research and order parts for customers.
• Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Provides phone and email correspondence to customers regarding quotes and diagrams.
• Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

This is a full-time position with typical working hours between 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.

This position will be located in both an office and warehouse environment, with considerable exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and / or loud noises. While performing the duties of this job, the employees is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. There is frequent lifting and / or moving of up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
