Job Title : SQL & Python Developer

Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled SQL & Python Developer, including hands-on expertise with the DBT (Data Build Tool) framework in Python.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, transforming data using DBT, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Build and manage data models using the DBT framework in Python.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Document processes and maintain version control using Git.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in SQL and Python development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the DBT framework.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Experience with data modeling and ETL pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Big Query).
  • Knowledge of CI / CD practices in data engineering.
  • Familiarity with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
