We’re looking for an Operations / Production Coordinator to join our team! The Operations / Production Coordinator supports the Operations Manager in overseeing key aspects of plant operations, including employee onboarding, compliance, production scheduling, safety, and logistics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, accurate record-keeping, and strong communication across departments.

  • Pay Rate : $27-$33 / HR, DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage daily employee timekeeping in UKG.
  • Manage timecard badges for production employees.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics for shipments.
  • Maintain inventory control for materials such as tapes, labels, wire ties, and instruction sheets; reconcile discrepancies when needed.
  • Assist Inventory Control with large inventory items as requested.
  • Order and maintain adequate stock of office supplies, tapes, and labels.
  • Requisition machine parts and supplies.
  • Accurately complete insurance, 401(k), and new hire paperwork for production employees.
  • Conduct plant orientation and onboarding for new employees.
  • Provide employee support regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a reliable backup for production scheduling, logistics, and inventory control when needed.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with various plant and special projects.
  • Represent the company professionally with visitors, customers, and vendors.
  • Reporting Relationships

  • Reports directly to the Operations Manager .
  • Works closely with Production Control, Supervisors, Mechanics, QC, and Shipping & Receiving .
  • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or production coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with staff and leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Requirements :

  • Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States.
  • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
