Position Summary
The Systems Engineer is both a strategic architect and hands-on technologist, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable systems that power exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Architecture & Technology Leadership
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with high level executives and team members.
- Architect and optimize technology solutions aligned with business objectives and client success.
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, including provisioning, integrations, migrations, and configurations.
- Define, implement, and enforce best practices, security standards, and technical policies.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Automation, Security & System Optimization
- Implement automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Proactively monitor system health, respond to alerts, and take preventive measures to ensure uptime and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on lab testing, solution validation, and process improvement.
- Collaboration & Solution Delivery
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Project Management, and technical teams to enhance solutions, workflows, and network design.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal resources for timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Support deployment and maintenance of UCaaS platforms such as Zoom, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, and OnSIP.
- Advanced Support & Operational Excellence
- Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, networking, and cloud services across Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms (Apple, Android).
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues involving networks, wireless infrastructure, and end-user systems.
- Develop, update, and maintain thorough system documentation, standard operating procedures, and change records.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience :3–8 years in advanced technical, client-facing systems engineering or infrastructure roles.Technical Expertise :Proven track record delivering successful cloud-based solutions.Strong Microsoft 365 administration and migration skills.Solid networking knowledge (TCP / IP, routing, switching, DHCP, DNS, VPNs).Experience with Cisco Meraki products and wireless network troubleshooting.Proficiency with Windows OS administration (imaging, account management, group policies) and MacOS troubleshooting.Familiarity with mobile device / application management and wireless infrastructure.Preferred Skills :Knowledge of physical infrastructure, patch panels cabling and experience on how to run and terminate cabling.Knowledge of project management principles.Experience with scripting or automation.Professional Skills :Strong communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.Exceptional documentation and organizational abilities.Trusted client advisor with a "team-first" mindset.Adaptable, curious, and eager to embrace new technologies in a dynamic environment.What Sets This Role Apart
