Description :

The emergency department is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing high-quality care.

The unit has a total of 28 beds and staff around the clock to ensure patient needs are met.

Staffing includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, unit clerks, and patient care technicians based on shifts.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4, allowing for attentive patient care.

Common types of equipment include GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, and rapid infusers.

The unit utilizes Meditech Expanse as the electronic medical record system.

The facility is accredited as a Level 3 Trauma Center and has certifications for chest pain and stroke care.
