RN - Edgecombe Youth Development Center

Job Description :

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Edgecombe Youth Development Center!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details :

  • Location : Rocky Mount, NC
  • Schedule : TBD
  • Employment Type : Contract

Qualifications :

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) or multi-state license
  • Ability to pass a strict background check

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
  • Monitor and document patients' health status and respond to medical emergencies
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
  • Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
  • Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
