The Electronic Warfare and Airborne Sensors department within the Space and Air Sensors; Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the design development and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) technology for a suite of products across multiple programs. This position supports a variety of activities including but not limited to architecture development requirements management and development oversight for signal processing systems and software defined RF systems (radar communications and / or EW).

The successful candidate is an energetic focused and capable engineer with strong organizational capabilities and a drive to learn and grow. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills the ability to operate independently with limited supervision is a strong team player and establishes solid working relationships with technical staff members customers and peers. What You Will Do :

• Understand the customers architecture needs and desired capabilities and participate in requirements decomposition to ensure appropriate allocation of technical architecture elements.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges in signal processing design.
• Create or modify existing electronic warfare signal processing and control algorithms.
• Develop and execute test plans including test simulations and lab tests to verify system capability.
• Evaluate and assess functional performance of developmental RF systems including signal processing subsystems and firmware / control algorithms.
• Provide labor and material cost estimates in support of bid and proposal activities as required.
• Balances competing priorities and tasks

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
