An Intensivist locum tenens opportunity is available outside of St. Louis, Missouri. The 500 bed facility (12-bed general medical ICU, 12-bed surgical ICU) is seeking ongoing coverage with the ideal number of shifts averaging 15 per month. Hours are 7 am ? 7 pm and 7 pm ? 7 am. Currently, the program is on a 17 hour coverage model : 7 am- 5 pm and 4 pm- 12 midnight (in house). The 4 pm- 12 midnight shift physician will be in house for 8 hours but will be paid for a 10 hour shift to cover overnight call. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine. Standard ICU procedures, codes, airways. No Rapid Response or NP or PA support.
