Weve coupled this underwriting agent with advanced document and identity anti-fraud, and were working toward democratizing sophisticated consumer underwriting for all.

About the Role

Seeking a Staff Software Engineer with 78+ years of experience to lead the re-architecture of our core platform as we scale rapidly. After two years of fast-paced product development, our system has grown into a collection of disparate services, and we need a senior IC to unify, rebuild, and streamline the foundation . This role reports directly to the CTO and plays a critical part in shaping the technical future of the company.

What Were Looking For

• 78+ years of professional experience as a strong individual contributor .
• Deep expertise in systems design, architectural refactoring, and scaling codebases beyond the fast startup phase.
• Experience at a high-growth startup (Seed Series B / C) where engineering teams expanded meaningfully.
• Strong full-stack or backend skills ( Typescript, React, Node.js, Python preferred).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound technical decisions with incomplete context, and iterate quickly.
• High engineering barsomeone who can elevate the code quality and system design of the entire team.
