AVP Technical Director Property

Zurich is seeking an individual to be the Property Technical / Thought Lead for Zurich Resilience Solutions. This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. and will have estimated 20% travel. In this role you will provide guidance and consulting to customers, underwriting, and colleagues on a local and international level.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Research emerging property fire risk issues to identify their potential impact, determine mitigation strategies and communicate this information in a consumable manner to end users.
• Develop technical standards for the Property Fire line of business with corresponding guidance to the staff, complete with technical materials and products that support assessments, service, and mitigation of loss sources.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, support delivery of training to staff, customers, and underwriting, and drive quality through calibration efforts and quality reviews.

This role will be filled at either the AVP or VP level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
