Description
This position may be eligible for Hybrid Work, working remotely for up to two days per week after the initial 90 days of employment.
Salary Range : $65,866 / year or higher, commensurate with experience and / or education
JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Director, Community Engagement & Service Learning directs the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning. The Associate Director set the programming for the center, and ensure the proper implementation and assessment of programs.
DUTIES
- Manages the planning, implementation, data collections and assessment of signature events such as GatorServe - 9 / 11 and MLK, Community Partners Fair, Community Engagement Showcase(s), and Appreciation Luncheon
- Manages the Community Engagement (CE) grants including, solicits applications, organizes application reviews, ensures funds are spent correctly, communicated with all the stakeholders, and collects reports and summarizes data
- Oversees the community engagement Work Study Program : sets up contracts with community partners, obtains position descriptions, recruits and places students, provides training, maintains contact with students and partners, collects and assess data
- Seeks opportunities for grants from foundations as well as external funding agencies to support CCESL's programs. Works with the Advancement Office regarding foundation support
- Oversees the summer internship program in the summers, if funding is secured
- Manages the program staff
- Oversees service learning program, solicits applications, gets reviews, awards grants, collaborates with faculty, performs assessment
- Seeks collaborations with other programs at UHD
