The Lead Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement at GE Aerospace will play a critical role in driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality materials and services to support GE Aerospace's operations. In this role, will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery while adhering to GE Aerospace's commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
With our state-of-the-art Flight Management System (FMS) powering all the major narrowbodies, and our open computing suite (Integrated Modular Avionics, Common Core System) powering Boeing's 787 and 777X platforms, GE Aerospace's avionics provide safety and advanced technology to all customers.
As a trusted partner on western defense platforms, GE Aerospace's Systems offer tailor-made solutions for both fixed and rotary wings military applications, including KC-46, P-8, F-35, and F-18. We take pride in ensuring full-lifecycle readiness as it relates to safety, certification, and quality standards, continuously striving to deliver for our customers through project execution, collaboration, and lean problem-solving.
Our avionics team is primarily based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Clearwater, Florida with additional support received from our global sites.
