Job Posting :

  • Caregiver for Teenager with Cerebral Palsy and Autism Location : Pleasant Ridge, Michigan Pay : $15.20 - $16.20 per hour, Paid Weekly Position Type : Part-Time, Paid Training Provided We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to support a 13-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and autism in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, or a willingness to learn and receive training.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility support, and feeding.
  • Engage in fun, therapeutic, and educational activities to support social skills, communication, and overall well-being.
  • Assist with transportation to and from activities in the local community Monitor and ensure safety, providing a nurturing and calm environment.
  • Help with any additional needs as they arise (i.e., hygiene, dressing, etc.).

    • Requirements :

  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (driving required).
  • Experience with special needs children, specifically cerebral palsy or autism, preferred, but not required.
  • Must be patient, reliable, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo paid training to learn necessary caregiving skills.
