Summary : You will be an integral part of the sales team using your skills to prepare quotes, process sales orders and provide support for the outside salesmen. To be successful you will be trained to know chassis styles and be able to provide the common specs and be trained on vendor product lines within your first 6 months.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare quotes quickly and efficiently
  • Assist outside sales in processing quotes and sales orders
  • Complete inspections on completed trucks, including taking photos, obtaining the weight, and fuel testing.
  • Coordinate the shipping and receiving of completed trucks to the customer.
  • Answer incoming sales calls.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to problem-solving in day-to-day job functions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them before they escalate
  • Demonstrated ability to plan work efficiently, allocate time appropriately, and adjust priorities when necessary.

    • Work Environment : This position works in an office setting, with shop exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

    Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to

    stand; walk; and sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

    Travel

    No travel is expected for this position.

    Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with truck equipment preferred but not required
  • 1 year experience with quoting processes
  • 1 year experience with sales order entry
  • Ability to acquire Class B CDL within 6 months of hire
