Gastroenterology Physician

I am working with Memorial Hospital-Belleville through BJC Healthcare in Belleville, IL and they are looking for some temporary Gastroenterology coverage over the next starting in January 2025. 222 bed facility

This facility is looking for coverage January 13th ongoing

They are looking for coverage for two weeks a month

Inpatient only

The client prefers candidates that can work a 14 on 14 off schedule, but will look at candidates that have alternative scheduling preferences

Minimum assignment length : One week per month

24 hour call shifts (including 8 hours of gratis)

Procedures : Esophageal Dilatation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Insertion / Management of Sengstaken / Blakemore Tube.

Upper GI Endos : Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Cautery, Banding of Varices, ERCP, Diagnostic, Therapeutic, PEG

Onsite X-Rays

EMR : EPIC and Provation for GI procedure documentation

60 days to privilege

Candidates must have active ACLS and BLS CPR certifications

Candidates must have an active Illinois license be

per 24 hour call (including 8 hours of gratis)

$420-435 per hour for any hour worked over 8 hours per day
