Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers allowed

License : Oregon RN license is not required at the time of submission; however, an Oregon CNA license must be in hand.

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have : Epic Charting experience is mandatory

Job Description :

• CVOR RN needed for day shift with both CVOR and OR experience.
• BLS certification required, while ACLS certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience is needed.
• Travelers with 3 or higher ratings in all CV skills, especially post-surgery skills, are required.
• Flexible weekday scheduled shifts of 10 hours, starting at 07 : 00.
• Weekday night call shifts include one per week from Monday to Thursday, 17 : 30 to 07 : 00.
• Friday night call shifts include one per month from 17 : 30 to 07 : 00.
• Weekend call shifts include two per month from 07 : 00 to 07 : 00.
• Travelers may need to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby.
• Orientation and modules are non-billable, with up to 8 hours of modules completed pre-start and annually.
• All certifications must be provided in PDF format, dated within the last 30 days, even if the OR license is not currently in hand.
• A detailed written statement from the traveler is required for any license or background hits, and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
