Role Description

Evette is seeking an experienced Relief Emergency Veterinarian (1099 Contractor) to support a hospital in Berkeley, CA at $2,500 per 12-hour shift . This is a flexible, relief-based opportunity — not a full-time position.Clinic is requesting overnights, swings, and days.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing emergency and urgent care to small-animal patients.
• Performing emergency procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Managing critical cases efficiently in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Collaborating with hospital support teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with pet owners regarding treatment plans.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records for all cases.
• Exercising sound clinical judgment and adapting quickly to varying caseloads.
