The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates supporting a material science organization that has an opening for Chemist near St. Paul, MN !

Position Summary :

This role supports manufacturing and R&D through precise sample preparation, routine analyses, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced, safety-focused lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze samples, stock solutions, and standards with precision.
  • Operate analytical instruments (FTIR, NIR, Raman, UV-Vis, LC / GC, GPC, Metrohm).
  • Perform wet chemistry, titrations, and polymer testing.
  • Maintain solvents, mobile phases, and chemical inventory.
  • Document work in LIMS and prepare technical reports.
  • Calibrate instruments and follow SOPs.

Requirements :

  • BA / BS in Chemistry or related field.
  • 3+ years of QC lab experience.
  • Must be skilled in sample preparation, chromatography (LC / GC), FTIR, NIR, UV-Vis, titration, ion chromatography (IC), and polymer testing (IV).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and lab software.
  • Safety-focused and adaptable to changing priorities.

    • Additional Details :

    Contract Length : 12 months with the possibility of extension

    Pay range : $25 to $35 / hour

    Must be eligible to work in the United States.
