The Electrical Designer will work with direct supervision and general direction on tasks and smaller projects as a team member of a larger engineering team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer / Designer. You will assist in evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering certain electrical power and lighting systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards / practices. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include AutoCAD and / or Revit design, calculations, and field work. The smaller projects that an Electrical Designer may be assigned to will have routine and complex features. You will draw on strong building engineering knowledge to assist in the preparation of electrical plans, drawings, details and specifications in accordance with client standards and expectations.

Education and Experience
Bachelors' degree in related field + Minimum 3 years related professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience and / or demonstrated skills. Professional PE preferred.
Office Location and Schedule
This position exists at Stantec's Honolulu, HI location but may require occasional presence in other offices, at project sites, and at meetings. Regional travel is potential. Out-of-state travel may be required. To meet this requirement, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record is necessary for this position. This position requires some weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with scheduling flexibility available. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range :
Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas - Min Salary $ 82,600.00 - Max Salary $ 119,800.00
Pay Transparency :
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
