SERVICE CENTER MECHANIC

The primary role of Service Center Mechanic is to repair and maintain a variety of construction equipment; including, but not limited to; power tools, generators, trucks, forklifts, trailers, concrete equipment, etc. You will be working on diesel, gas, and electric engines in this role. This role must also be prepared to perform unscheduled maintenance. Additional duties may be required at times, see below.

This position includes tooling and uniform onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of mechanical experience
• 2-4 Previous work on diesel equipment, small engines, and miscellaneous construction equipment

Position involves standing for a period of time and sitting to complete desk work. Employee needs to be able to lift up to 50 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.

Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base hourly rate for this position is $25 to $30 / hr, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future growth.
