We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with a background in Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment. Candidates must reside in Florida and have direct experience with Florida regulations and field conditions. This is a field-forward position with a focus on practical problem-solving and project leadership in the Southeastern region .

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, subsurface explorations, soil / rock classification, and in-situ testing
• Analyze data for foundation design, slope stability, settlement analysis, and pavement recommendations
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports with practical engineering solutions
• Develop project scopes, proposals, and budgets; assist with project management and client communications
• Oversee field exploration programs, coordinate lab testing, and ensure QA / QC on deliverables
• Work closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with FDEP, FDOT, and other Florida-specific environmental / geotechnical regulations
• Mentor junior staff and support business development through local networking and technical presentations
