What You’ll Do
The Digital Designer creates graphics and motion and interactivity. The Digital Designer’s work ranges from 2D / 3D animation to interactive web pages. This position has similar skillsets as a Graphic Designer but creates and edits assets with a focus on user experience and functionality. This position collaborates with Motion and Web designers to create interactive assets for consumer and dealer engagement. The Digital Designer also partners closely with the SEO and content teams to ensure visual assets support organic search strategies and enhance content performance. This position reports to the Creative Manager completing all required assigned tasks while exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
What We’re Looking For
70% of the digital designer’s focus will be geared toward designing user experiences and interactivity on our media kits, landing pages and presentations.Digital designers must incorporate responsive elements and work in conjunction with copywriters to blend content and design seamlessly.Collaborate with SEO and content teams to create visually engaging and optimized designs that support organic search performance, ensuring that visual elements enhance readability, accessibility, and crawlability.This job requires the ability to design and present UI / UX wireframes for larger online campaigns that will exist on our marketplaces and blogs.Assist with the creation of SEO-friendly landing pages and blogs by designing layouts that highlight keyword-rich content and drive user engagement.Preferred intermediate experience in HTML, CSS, and UI / UX prototyping programsThe Digital Designer will work closely with web designers to create and update content modules with the user experience in mind.Partner with the content team to develop infographics and visual content that improve dwell time, lower bounce rates, and support backlink acquisition.For best user interactivity, the Digital Designer will collect real-time data and compare performances by deploying A / B testing on two or more unique designsThe digital designer will assist the motion designer with 2D-3D animations, assets, and footage.Ensure consistency and integrity behind our company’s brand and execute with strict adherence to the corporate brand guidelinesEnsure all visual assets adhere to web accessibility standards (WCAG) to support SEO and inclusive user experiences.As a design expert, work with other marketing members & stakeholders to ideate, conceptualize and execute all digital marketing materials and utilize your expertise to provide new ideas for design and content creation.Scope and create design templates in email and CMS platforms for our marketing team.Generates and manipulates graphic images, gifs, and vector graphics for emails and landing pages.Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.Coordinates with email specialists and motion designers on the integration of interactive elements on all digital platforms.Follow a production calendar while working autonomously to meet specific deadlines.Collects data and analytics on all digital marketing performance (emails and landing pages)Develops best practices for online landing pages and email marketingQA and review of final outputs and source filesWhat We’re Looking For
Ability to analyze situations, problem solve, communicate, and take the appropriate course of action with workflow needs to improve productivity and efficiencyExcellent eye for design and typography and the ability to deliver constructive feedback on projects to the creative team.Able to create motion assets for our web team that are mobile-, tablet-, and desktop-friendly and provides a user experience that fits on all three screens.Ability to follow creative directions.Consistently learning technology advancements and staying up to date with new production toolsExhibit a cooperative, solution-oriented approach to problem-solvingProactive in anticipating needs and creative in developing solutions to problemsStrong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong understanding of brand-specific marketingAction-oriented and enjoys working hard; energetic and willing to take on challenging assignments; seizes personal development opportunitiesProficient in Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of HTML and CSS preferredKnowledge of and competency in the digital advertising fieldKnowledge of google analytics and Adobe Analytics preferred Education and Experience :Bachelor's degree preferred, major or significant coursework in Art and Graphic Design or related disciplines highly preferred.3+ years’ experience in Graphic Design and online advertisingHas experience in marketing automation platforms.Intermediate knowledge of WordPress and Drupalintermediate experience in HTML and CSSPreferred experience in Figma or Adobe XDSo come and join our team - because every role is a big role in our plans to go big.
