Job Title : Field Service Technician | $30+HR

Pay : $30-35 / hr DOE + Per Diem, Travel Paid for, PLUS Overtime & Base Pay!

90% Travel- Each project can range from a few weeks to a few months with occasional return home visits. Whole company takes time off from Thanksgiving to New Years.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, commission, and maintain our conveyor systems on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electrical installation, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in installing conveyor equipment. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within 6 hours of initial call.
• Install and commission conveyor equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical components for Amazon distribution centers across the US.
• PLC and control debugging, troubleshooting, loop testing.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and be available for service calls within the geographic region.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and internal teams.
• Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, sales, and customer service to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
