Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a healthcare team in Mesa, AZ, on a travel contract.

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges, helping them improve daily living skills and achieve greater independence.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and skilled in providing therapy across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess functional abilities, therapy needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve self-care, fine motor skills, mobility, and participation in daily activities.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy objectives, safety practices, and adaptive equipment use.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Support patients in achieving independence and improving quality of life through evidence-based practices.
