Position Summary :

The Design Engineer II performs complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, plumbing or other systems.

What you’ll do :

• Performs more complex calculations, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection or other systems. Performs more complex calculations for a project, such as heating / cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.
• Prepares preliminary redline design layouts for estimating.
• Manages a single phase of a project.
• Provides guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Review applicable codes and criteria and examine field conditions as required to support design of project.
