Job Title : Manager RN, Labor and Delivery

Location : On-site, near Pasadena, TX

Salary Range : $90,000 - $120,000

They are actively seeking a full-time, permanent Manager RN, Labor and Delivery, to oversee their dedicated team during night shifts. Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Manager RN to lead the Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires acute care leadership experience and the ability to create a positive, efficient, and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in clinical and managerial expertise to ensure top-tier care for families.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.

Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional development.

Implement policies, protocols, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency.

Coordinate resources and schedules to maintain smooth department operations.

Ensure compliance with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and family-centered care.

Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree required.

Current RN license in Texas required.

3-5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care Labor and Delivery leadership experience required.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified.

Medication Learning Module completed.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six (6) months of hire required.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within six (6) months of hire required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified, with experience in TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, Labor & Delivery, and Operating Room preferred.
