About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead and scale its global engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engineering execution at scale, including delivery, quality, and talent growth. This role involves managing a team of Engineering Directors, shaping the engineering culture, and ensuring high-performing, predictable, and quality delivery across the platform. The VP of Engineering will also oversee the design, development, and scaling of complex distributed systems, and will partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance services to customers.

Candidates for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of professional experience in building products using modern software engineering processes, with a proven track record in high-volume B2B or B2C product. Experience in scaling engineering teams to 100+ engineers and working in a global engineering organization is essential. The role requires a technically strong individual with experience in building large-scale enterprise-grade systems, preferably in Python and AWS, and deep expertise in both backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will have a critical thinking approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders. Experience in an early-stage startup is a significant advantage, as is a background in AI and automation to enhance developer efficiency and support innovation goals.
