Our client is currently seeking a Computing Architect 4
Position Title WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Administrator – CMES Program Support
Location : Tukwila, WA (1 Day Onsite)
Duration : 5+ Months
Overview This role supports the setup and maintenance of IBM WebSphere environments that power Clinet’s Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES). CMES is a core digital platform driving real-time factory operations and commercial product delivery. The selected candidate will play a hands-on role in configuring application servers, supporting development and production activities, and ensuring system integrity across WebSphere deployments.
Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy WebSphere environments on new hardware to support application development pipelines
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on designing applications for availability, scalability, and resiliency
- Build, test, and launch production systems through final deployment and post-go-live support
- Participate in continuous improvement and troubleshooting of WebSphere infrastructure
- Maintain system security and performance through policy implementation and technical oversight
- Support backend operations with Oracle database systems and integration
