Scope of the Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager with deep e-commerce expertise to oversee inventory, forecasting, production planning, and multi-warehouse coordination across all channels. You will ensure the company never runs out of stock, maintains full operational visibility, and scales efficiently without tying up excess working capital in inventory.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing DTC operationsespecially subscription-based brandsand understands how to balance predictable recurring demand with the challenges of rapid growth.
Inventory Management & Supply Planning
- Maintain real-time accuracy of inventory across all warehouses and sales channels (Shopify, Amazon FBA / FBM, Walmart, etc.).
- Track inventory at every stage : on hand, in transit, inbound, reserved, and forecasted.
- Provide visibility so the team always knows exact inventory positions and what's coming.
- Implement inventory control systems to reduce discrepancies, stockouts, and overstocks.
Forecasting & Production Coordination
Build and refine demand forecasts using sales trends, subscription cycles, promotions, seasonality, and new product launches.Manage supplier and manufacturer relationships : lead times, MOQs, and production schedules.Optimize purchasing to avoid stockouts while reducing unnecessary capital tied in inventory.Develop monthly and quarterly forecast models to support aggressive scaling plans.Warehouse & Logistics Oversight
Oversee inventory movement across multiple domestic and international 3PLs.Monitor inbound shipments, receiving timelines, and fulfillment accuracy.Coordinate Amazon FBA replenishment with respect to restock limits, storage fees, and performance metrics.Improve shipping timelines, returns processes, and overall fulfillment operations.Channel Operations (Multi-Platform)
Manage operational performance across Shopify, Amazon (FBA + FBM), Walmart Marketplace, and future sales channels.Ensure accurate SKU setup, bundle management, and marketplace requirements.Collaborate with CX, marketing, and finance for upcoming campaigns and expected demand.Reporting, Systems & Optimization
Build dashboards and reporting tools for inventory levels, forecast accuracy, stock risk, and operational KPIs.Identify and implement tools / software that improve visibility and efficiency.Continuously improve processes across supply chain, purchasing, forecasting, and warehouse operations.
