job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit Primary patient population includes women from 17 weeks gestation, laboring, with scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions Unit activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, triage, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section) Common equipment includes fetal monitors and Fetalink documentation Uses Cerner EMR and Fetalink for documentation; experience with Cerner is required Schedule consists of four 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 48 hours Candidates must reside at least 25 miles from the facility Responsible for delivering care to laboring patients, managing scheduled obstetric procedures, and responding to obstetric emergencies May be assigned pre-op and triage duties in addition to labor and delivery responsibilities Documentation is performed using Cerner and Fetalink systems Candidate must provide references from at least one recent supervisor and one other manager or supervisor from the past twelve months Scrub requirements are not specified COVID and flu vaccination may be required according to facility policy Active DC RN license required Minimum of two years recent L&D experience in a US hospital Current certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP (AHA only), and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring Cerner EMR experience required CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification mandated Must provide a valid US Social Security Number No pending licenses accepted; active license must be in hand at time of consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
