We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support a person with special needs in daily activities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence in accordance with DBHDD (Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities) guidelines.
The responsibilities include :
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience working with individuals with special needs preferred. Excellent communication, patience, and respect for the client's dignity and independence are essential. The ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions is required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be necessary, and first aid / CPR certifications are preferred.
