Qualifications Responsibilities As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will utilize ultrasound equipment to help create quality images for physicians to interpret during exams. This aspect of care includes setting up and adjusting diagnostic equipment, educating patients, verifying the accuracy of patient information, and performing technical data entry as necessary. Cardiovascular sonographers focus on taking diagnostic images and matters directly related to that.
