Role Overview
We’re looking for a Service Supervisor to partner closely with the General Manager and Barista Lead to oversee daily operations, elevate beverage and service quality, and maintain a consistent, well-trained team. This role is hands-on, detail-focused, and rooted in hospitality. The Service Supervisor will be a key leader on the floor, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly and every guest receives warm, thoughtful service.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Training
Lead training and ongoing development for baristas and FOH staff
Maintain recipe accuracy, drink consistency, and quality control for chilled espresso, matcha, pourovers, and seasonal beverages
Provide hands-on coaching and feedback during service
Support the creation and maintenance of SOPs, training materials, and quality systems
Floor Leadership
Direct and support staff throughout service to maintain smooth flow
Uphold Noun’s standards for hospitality, cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
Ensure proper stocking, prep, and readiness across all stations
Identify operational gaps and assist in implementing improvements
Guest Experience
Model warm, engaged, guest-centered service
Help resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
Maintain a welcoming, community-driven environment that reflects our brand
Team Culture
Foster accountability, communication, and teamwork
Help onboard new staff and support continuous skill development
Encourage a culture of consistency, craft, respect, and hospitality
Qualifications Required
2+ years of hospitality management or senior leadership experience
Strong coffee knowledge and high standards for beverage quality
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Detail-oriented and steady under pressure
Commitment to warm, intentional hospitality
Preferred
Interest in or knowledge of natural wine
Experience building training programs or SOPs
Background in quality-focused cafés or wine bars
