Company Name] has an opportunity for a qualified Controls Engineer in our [Location] Office.

Job Summary :

Assists design and consulting engineers with control solutions for building automation work. When required, prepares cost estimates, design sketches, and works with CAD operator to prepare installation drawings. Monitors progress of installations and performs programming and startup of building automation systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Project Design and Conception : Creates BAS system drawings / sketches from design engineer's drawing and specifications. Interprets the design engineers desired sequence of operation and ensure our design reflects the desired system operation.
  • Drawings : Assists staff in preparing BAS system drawings for field installation. Assists staff with system topology design and site-specific items.
  • System Programming : Prepares programs for all field controllers, head-end controllers, and system graphics
  • Project Start Up : Supervises BAS startups and commissioning. Assists startup technicians with any programming and field issues that arise during start up and testing phase.
  • Project As-Build Drawings : Ensures red-lined drawing from the field are shared with staff so as-build drawings can be completed and filed.

Requirements :

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Occasional Travel
