Vendor Management & Sourcing Analyst

The Vendor Management & Sourcing / Procurement Analyst is responsible for driving operational excellence across the vendor lifecycle, sourcing, and procurement processes. This role combines advanced data analysis, contract management, project input into the CLM system, RFP facilitation, and project management. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, optimize costs, and support strategic business objectives.
Essential Job Functions :
- Oversee end-to-end vendor onboarding, including compliance and cyber forms, and maintain accurate documentation for all vendors.
- Input and manage projects and contracts within the CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) system, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Coordinate RFP processes, including drafting, distribution, evaluation, and vendor selection facilitation.
- Support the development, publication, and maintenance of vendor management policies, SOPs, job aids, and educational materials.
- Help facilitate and coordinate quarterly and semi-annual vendor strategy sessions with leadership and document outcomes.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks related to vendor performance and sourcing activities.Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards (e.g., savings, performance, risk, finance) to support decision-making and track KPIs / SLA compliance.Review and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing; address discrepancies and coordinate with vendors as needed.Prepare and present actionable recommendations based on data analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.Project & Process Management :
Lead or participate in automation and optimization initiatives for vendor management and sourcing processes.Document and communicate software or process issues, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to resolve them.Support the implementation of AI / ML and advanced analytics within vendor management processes.Manage and update project details, timelines, and deliverables in relevant systems (e.g., Workday, CLM).Compliance & Continuous Improvement :
Ensure adherence to all compliance, ethics, and mandatory training requirements.Participate in professional development and certification programs (e.g., CRCR, CAPM, Power BI).Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and value delivery.Other Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.35 years of experience in vendor management, sourcing / procurement, or data analytics.Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, CoPilot, etc).Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with contract review, RFP facilitation, and project management.Familiarity with CLM systems (Workday preferred)Certification(s) such as CRCR, CAPM, or relevant professional credentials preferred.Preferred Attributes :
