Patient Care Technician - Physical Therapy

Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a Part-Time Patient Care Technician - Physical Therapy.

This is a great role for a student looking for health care experience.

This role is for our Lansing location.

We are seeking an outgoing person who is a quick learner.

This position requires outstanding customer service.

Prior experience with Physical Therapy is preferred, but not necessary.

We will train the right person! Schedule : Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

Under the close supervision of a Physical Therapist, Technicians are responsible for assisting the therapist with patient care or patient related needs.

Light clerical duties required including but not limited to : Scheduling, collecting co-pays, scanning and new patient registration, maintaining overall clinic cleanliness, and preparing treatment areas.

Skills and Specifications : Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy Positive attitude Team player Ability to work with all types of people Ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize important tasks is necessary.
