🎻 Violin Instructor (Part-Time | In-Person | W-2)

📍 Boston, MA | 🗓 Start : October 2025 (Teaching begins September)

🕒 Regular Availability :

Weekdays :

• Mondays : 3–8 PM
• Wednesdays 3-9
• Thursdays : 3 : 30–9 PM

PLUS :

• Saturdays : 9–4 PM

The Boston School of Music Arts is seeking a Violin Instructor to join our faculty. This is an in-person, W-2 teaching position focused on private lessons and small ensemble instruction.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and enjoys working with students ages 5 through adult. A performance background is essential, and piano skills are a plus .

🔸 Qualifications :

• 2+ years teaching private violin lessons  (ages 4 –adult)
• Experience teaching groups and / or ensembles
• Strong performance background
• Able to teach a variety of styles of music ( Classical, Broadway, Pop, Jazz  or Rock a plus)
• Degree in Music or Music Education preferred
• Piano teaching ability is a plus, not required
• Must pass background check
