Heritage Research Group (HRG) is partnering with Orr Fellowship in the hiring of an early career individual for its Research & Enterprise Innovation teams. The groups this fellow will rotate through are Analytical Research, Engineering Research, Chemistry Research, Pavement Research and Enterprise Innovation group with various projects throughout the rotations.
The engineering rotation will involve using ChemCad, AutoCad, and Minitab and are typically related to problem solving for our operating companies or subsidiaries. The analytical projects are problem solving or capability development project using Gas and Liquid chromatographic or spectroscopic instrumentation (Raman, IR, Mass Spectrometry).
The chemistry projects typically involve beneficiating low value waste streams and by-products into higher value materials. The pavement projects are focused on asphalt and emulsion formulations and recycled asphalt recovery of binder. The business innovation projects will be centered on developing new cross-functional capabilities, businesses, and platforms of value for The Heritage Group by conducting business diligence and market research building upon technical innovations developed within HRG.
