Job Summary :   BBSI is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform a variety of shipping tasks to support customers, sales other departments as need.

Job Title :  Shipping Clerk

Job ID :   73945

Pay Rate :   $18.00 / hr

Job Location :  West Jordan

Shift :   8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities :   Applicants could be required to do any of the following :

  • Locate product from production area to shipping staging area and prepare for processing which includes photographing prepackaged product
  • Wrap and package products by following shipping requirements to ensure safe transit
  • Photograph wrapped product and complete documentation of weights and dims of each pallet
  • Maintains cleanliness of shipping area using 5S standards
  • Performs other related tasks, as required

Qualifications :

  • Shipping or warehouse work preferred
  • Basic understanding of basic mathematics
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions
  • Meet the physical demands of lifting 35 lbs to 50 lbs frequently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
  • Be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb (ladders and steps) and be on feet for entire shift
