Job Overview :
Insight Contracting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring efficient management of maintenance requests by assigning and scheduling work orders, liaising with tenants, vendors, and our maintenance team, and following up to ensure all work is completed to satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction methods and property mechanics, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work Order Management : Assign maintenance work orders to in-house technicians and external vendors, ensuring timely execution and completion of tasks.
- Coordination : Collaborate with inspectors, tenants, vendors, and the rental department to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Follow-up & Satisfaction : Contact recent move-ins and tenants with ongoing or completed work orders to assess satisfaction and ensure all required tasks are completed.
- Tenant Support : Address tenant maintenance concerns, providing diagnostic assistance and resolution in a professional and timely manner.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of work orders, vendor communication, and tenant interactions within the maintenance system.

Attention to Detail : Strong ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Mathematical Aptitude : Comfortable with calculations related to work orders and resource allocation.Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.Customer Service : Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction and issue resolution.Time Management : Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Adaptability : Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.Independent & Team Player : Capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team member.Construction Knowledge : Familiarity with construction methods and property mechanics to accurately assess and address maintenance issues.Education & Experience :
Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience : Previous experience in customer service, maintenance coordination, administrative support, or project management is highly desirable.Degree : A college degree is not required for this position.This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and enjoys ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
